The First Dynasty Fashion Show

第一屆華服霓裳大賽

For beautiful women to have a better stage to show themselves and improve their own life, while inheriting in Chinese culture, the First Dynasty Fashion Show organized by R&C Media Group and the Global Beauty Club.

Dynasty Fashion Show originated in Los Angeles. It aims to display the 5,000-year-old costume culture of China and enables future generations to understand the lives of their predecessors, as well as strengthening the influence of Chinese culture to the world.

The contestants come from all over the world from the age of 20 to 60. The selected contestants will compete in the finals in Sea World San Diego.

關於《嘜王爭霸》

2018 “King of Mic” singing competition strikes again! The event objective is to rebuild the confidence and influence of Cantonese Pop Music and to encourage people to learn more about classic Chinese culture. There are five divisions in total including Guang Dong, Guang Xi, Hai Nan, Hong Kong and Macau in China, plus overseas division. Guang Dong TV America and WCETV/R&C Media Group Inc. are hosts of all the activities in U.S. west.

《2018 嘜王爭霸—全球粵語歌唱大匯》是廣東電視臺珠江頻道發起,并聯合廣東電臺音樂之聲主辦的粵語歌唱大賽。

大賽旨在重建粵語流行音樂的影響力,喚醒國人及海外華人對粵語流行音樂經典的懷念及重獲光輝的渴望。

前幾届的《嘜王爭霸》已經幫助無數擁有歌唱夢想的年輕人在歌唱、演藝道路上開創一片天地。

本屆《嘜王爭霸》美國西岸賽區的全部賽事,仍由廣東國際美洲臺 Ch31.4頻道攜手朗思傳媒集團旗下的WCETV銀視網共同主辦

參賽要求

本次《嘜王爭霸》參賽者演唱各需必須為粵語歌曲或者英文歌曲,冠軍選手回到廣東參加《嘜王爭霸》全球總冠軍決賽。

Requirements

* Be at least 18 years of age

* Valid ID and without any civil or criminal charges.

* Participants have to sing in Cantonese or English.

* 持有有效身份證件,無犯罪記錄

* 參賽歌曲必須為粵語歌曲或英文歌曲

Preliminary

* Send a 60 second vocal audio track (without music), together with filled-out registration form to danchen@mail.rc-studios.com before August 1, 2018 to enter first preliminary.

評審辦法

* 決賽評委共5人,其中2位將由廣東電視臺派出,其他3位由原海選及複賽評委參與。評判方法嚴格按照廣東電視臺指定標準執行

Pronunciation (15%), Quality and Skill (65%), Stage Performance and Attire (20%)

Category

The Final singing competition is separated into three categories: fast song, slow song, and self-choice song. Awards will be given to First, Second, and Third place as well as Best Performance, Best Attire, and Best Voice.

Awards

U.S. West Division best three have a chance to go to Guangzhou to enter TOP 50 Singing Competition. During the competition in Guangzhou, all food, lodging, and travel expenses will be paid by Guangdong TV and contestants will receive professional singing, dancing, and staging training. The final winner will receive 500,000 RMB prize and performance contract.

僑報,世界日報,星島日報以及娛樂天地雜誌根據美西賽區的新聞發佈會時間、海選、複賽和決賽時間刊登新聞通稿、報導活動舉辦情況、挖掘活動亮點和刊登活動現場照片。

美西賽區活動期間,各電視頻道每月不少於100次電視宣傳片播出。每條宣傳片時長為30秒。GDTV-31.4頻道將播出活動花絮。 GDTV-31.4頻道將轉播美西賽區複賽、決賽活動。時長各為120分鐘。

Pechanga Asian Media Night – Grand Opening of $300 Million Dollar Expansion

On March 8, 2018, WCETV – R&C Media Group, Inc. spent the afternoon with Pechanga for their Asian Media Night. An incredible experience, in the Four Diamond service hotel, seeing their $300 million expansion come to life. We are even more excited about the number of rooms totaling to a grand 1,090 with 55″ and 65″ television screens, high speed internet, spacious bathrooms, and native decor.

On top of that, there are hair and nail treatments, gyms, a green roof, and gorgeous pool complex. Book fast during concerts and events and don’t hesitate to grab reservations for the spa.

Mid-Autumn Festival Photo Exhibition in Guangdong

慶賀中秋,美麗廣東圖片展

 

On October 4th, R&C Media Group, Inc. joined the celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, California. Performance artists from backgrounds in China, South Korea, and Vietnam put together the ultimate multicultural celebration in conjunction with the “Beautiful Guangdong” photo exhibition.

金秋送爽,是喜獲豐收的季節,美國朗思傳媒集團聯合中國廣東省委省政府新聞辦,與南海岸購物廣場,及來自中國、韓國、越南等多個國家的表演藝術家及演出團體,于10月4日晚上在南海岸購物廣場共同舉行中秋亞洲多文化慶祝活動。廣東省人民政府新聞辦公室還于當天開始,舉辦維持一周的“一帶一路,美麗廣東”圖片展。

The Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional festival based on the worship of Mountain Gods during the Shang Dynasty. Over the years, the festival became centered around family reunions and time to give thanks for a full year of harvesting. It is currently celebrated with moon cakes, which is a lotus paste filled with red bean and sometimes salted duck egg yolks.

中秋節是中國人的傳統節日,按照習俗,中國人通常會與家人團聚,賞月亮,吃月餅,并向遠在他鄉的親朋好友送去祝福和問候。活動上,到場嘉賓一起品嘗亞洲傳統風味的月餅和年糕,來自亞洲傳統民間手工藝人現場展示中國結,剪紙,捏面人等傳統中國手藝,來自中國、韓國。越南的一個個精彩的歌舞表演贏得了現場一陣陣的歡呼聲。

The photo exhibition was filled with gorgeous images of Guangdong, capturing the charming atmosphere of the bustling city. The images had a perfect flow of contrast between Guangdong’s lively, natural scenery and the cold, industrial buildings.

GDTV-America (Ch 31.4) 6 Years Anniversary

On October 1, 2017 during the Autumn Festival, KVMD’s Ch. 31.4 celebrated it’s sixth anniversary of innovative development in new media in our Los Angeles studio. Overseas Chinese politicians, leaders, and special guests joined us in the celebration.

2017年10月1日金秋時節,KVMD Ch31.4廣東國際美洲臺六周年慶於洛杉磯朗思傳媒的演播廳里隆重舉行。眾多政要、僑領、廠商客戶、忠實觀眾等嘉賓蒞臨表達祝賀之意。

California Senator Josh Newman, Walnut’s City Council Woman Mary Su, and other local officials in the United States joined with R&C Media Group, Inc. President, Billy Chung, in conjunction with numerous overseas company communities were involved to bringing this event together.

During the celebration, California Senator Josh Newman and the City Councilwoman of Walnut Mary Su issued a congratulatory message to GDTV-America in their sixth year anniversary of new media. The event focused on the service that its broadcast provides and how it brings together the community through endless streaming of programs to Chinese audiences throughout Southern California. Exciting performances brought the event to life.

慶祝活動中,加州參議員Josh Newman的代表,核桃市市長蘇王秀蘭及當地政府官員向廣東國際美洲台頒發賀狀,祝賀廣東國際美洲臺成立六周年,以肯定六年來廣東國際美洲臺為洛杉磯華人社區帶來的服務和工作,為在南加州的華人觀眾帶來源源不絕的精彩節目。晚宴活動有歷届廣東台金牌節目《麥王爭霸》美西賽區冠軍現場助唱,及其他精彩的表演節目將活動氣氛推向高潮。

In 2012, GDTV and R&C Media Group, Inc. successfully united in Los Angeles, laying down the great foundation for competitiveness in expanding the Chinese cultural influence throughout North America. Over the past six years, GDTV-America grew to cover 16 million viewers and holds several talent shows, such as “King of Mic,” “Miss Bikini,” “International Car Model Competition” where the audience receives the best of China and Guangdong.

Chairman of Fujian Media Group, Xianghui Zeng, welcomed Billy Chung’s visit. He thanked Billy for his support for the partnership with Strait TV. Chairman of the board called R&C Media Group, Inc. one of the largest and most influential groups in the United States catering to the Chinese population. Mr. Zhan Wang, member and Vice Chairman of the Fujian Media Group, briefed Billy Chung on the organization structure, history, and development. Participants exchanged views on local media status, ratings, programming, new media technology, and content operations.

WCETV is a collection of digital TV channels, Internet TV, IP TV, mobile television, and is a 24 hour 7 days a week option to view the programs around the world. At present, the company has become the new broadcast platform to reach Strait TV programs. The group’s new media center has successfully managed program signal transmission with little to no technical issues with ratings through the roof.
